“THE WORLD OF JAPANESE TEA” Let’s welcome Oscar B “THE WORLD OF JAPANESE TEA” Let’s welcome Oscar Brekell again in Bangkok! @brekell Oscar is our special guest from Japan. We held excellent Japanese tea classes together at Koto Tea Space last August and December. It was very well received, we and our guests learned a lot from him, so we decided to make it an annual event here at Koto! For those looking to try something new or learn more about Japanese tea, this event is not to be missed! Originally from Sweden, Oscar Brekell is one of the few foreigners with a Japanese Tea Instructor certificate, and was also the first to obtain a diploma for making hand-rolled Sencha. With years of experience, and lectures on tea in more than 15 countries, Oscar is known in Japan as the “blue-eyed tea evangelist”, and has figured in various Japanese media for many years. With a focus on leaf tea, Oscar continues to surprise Japanese and foreigners alike with the great variety of tastes and flavors that Japanese tea has to offer. During our sessions, he will introduce a range of brewing techniques, from simple to advanced, and guide you through the intriguing world of single-origin green tea.
